vitaloc™
vitaloc™ is a powder mix of gelatin and crosslinking enzyme that acts as a hemostat for controlling medium-to-severe bleeding during oral surgical procedures.
Once applied on a bleeding site, the blood wets the powder, and the gelatin crosslinking is initiated. The gelatin is crosslinked into a stable matrix that physically stops the bleeding at the wounded site.
vitaloc™ consists of biodegradable materials and with time it is naturally resorbed.
